We finally got the internet!
Dearest Readers,
So Brandon and I finally got the internet so we can fiil you in. The drive was long and hot. I have no AC....it was like 1000020202 dagrees outside so I enjoyed a 10 hour shower in my own swet. We got to LA and crashed at a friends apartment b/c our apartment wasn't finished eventhough the landlord made us rush down here because it was going to be ready Aug. 9th and he couldn't hold it. It wasn't ready for 5 more days after we got here. He had to come clean it himself. We met and have a new friend here named Olga. Olga is AWSOME. She is an illegal Siberian immagrant who has a Master's in Linguistics. She speaks like 4 languages...so cool. We then got to go to Shane Ryan's house for a spell and it was AMAZING. It made me miss all of my friends back in Washington. I see now just how good I had it with great friends at SPU. Brando and I walked Hollywood BLvd. with Chelsea Taylor and her friend, Justine. I almost bumped into the guy who plays Harry Osbourne (Green Goblins son) on the Spiderman movies. He's pretty tall. Then some modget in a chucky suit tried to stab me with a plastic knife. Weird. I got a job working at Starbucks on Sunset Blvd. I start tomorrow. Anyway, this placee is pretty dang overwhelming...a lot different from Seattle or SPU. Brandon and I have been working on material to try and perfrom at any open mic nights we can...I let you know how that is going once it starts happening. We are also signing up for a casting agency that casts extras in movies and shows. Should be interesting. Interesting down here. I'm learning to try and trust God a lot more. I've realized it has been very easy to trust him when everything is just brought before me. This is the first thing I think I will really struggle through. It's a good thing. Keep praying, we need it....
